Optimus customizable keyboard

This keyboard can be customised to languages and / or different software. Each key is a little display that depicts exactly what it controls at that very moment. It has an extra block of keys for fast switching between programs.

For example, if you’re using Photoshop and you hold down the option/control key, every key on the keyboard depicts which tool you switch to when you click it. If you’re playing a game, the key depicts the action that is performed by clicking it.

I like it, very much. I think this could be quite an innovation in terms of usability. If it’s not too expensive (what is the price of a good mobile phone?)

The Optimus keyboard seems to be the sensible version of the WASD keyboard: http://www.wasdsucks.com/
